Ganden is located just 45 km east of Lhasa city on the main Highway which follows the south bank of the Kyi Chu to Medro Gongkar Rivers. The abode destination of future Buddha in Tibet consider as sacred holy shrine among all Buddhist religious group.

The Ganden Monastery is main attraction of the area where Tsong Khapa had chosen for his first meditation dated 1357 to 1419 AD at the same place monastery was built later. It is also great six monastery of Tibet belongs to yellow hat group called Gelukpa sect. The entire package also allow you to visit the oldest one Buddhist shrine Samye Monastery which was built in 8th century.

Ganden Samye Trek is extended to offer rich variety of sceneries from high snowy passes to lush alpine meadow and desert-like environs of high plain. The main attraction of Samye Ganden trek-visiting monasteries, two high passes above 5000m, beautiful alpine lakes, walking on wildness remotes places to explore a truly nomad wonders. Day 06: Trek to Tsotup Chu Valley (4 to5 hrs)
Day 07: Trek to Herder's Camp (5 hrs)
Day 08: Trek to Wango (6 hrs)
Day 09: Trek to Samye (2 hrs), Drive to Tsetang
Day 10: Explore the Yarlung valley
Day 11: Final departure
